Anyways, as it is usual in these galas, there will be many other famous hosts presenting the shortlists. So far, the list of presenters the Academy Award has revealed includes Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh and Zendaya.

Who will be performing at the 2024 Oscars?

Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, Ryan Gosling and Mark Ronson, Becky G, Jon Batiste and Scott George are the artists that will perform the five songs nominated for Best Original Song.

The Barbie movie has two songs nominated for this award. On the one hand, Billie Eilish –who’s eager to win her second award– will be performing “What Was I Made For?”. On the other hand, after many twists and turns, Ryan Gosling confirms he will be performing “I’m Just Ken”.

Becky G will be performing “The fire inside”, the song from Flamin’ Hot, the movie about the creator of the extra spicy Cheetos flavor.

Additionally, Indigenous musician Scott George will perform “Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People),” from the soundtrack of Martin Scorsese’s film, Killers of the Flower Moon. Scott is from the Osage Nation, the Midwest American tribe of the Great Plains whose tragic history is depicted in Roth and Scorsese’s screenplay.

Oscars 2024 favorites

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer leads the nominations with 13 nominations, followed by Yorgo Lanthimos’ Poor Things and Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, with 11 and 10 respectively.

Who will be the big winners at the 2024 Oscars?

Here, at MFC, we believe Oppenheimer will win for Best Picture and Cillian Murphy for Best Actor (although we root for Paul Giamatti and his outstanding performance in The Holdovers). As for Best Actress, we think Emma Stone will get the award for her performance in Poor Things.
